Out of those 1,230 properties, 649 SOLD within 0-30 days of being on the market.

The Median Sale Price means that 50% of the SOLD homes were above the median price and 50% of the SOLD homes were below the median price.  The MEDIAN Sale Price in FAIRFAX COUNTY, Virginia was $418K for AUGUST 2010.
